A Middle Eastern oilfield operation company is responsible for the development and operation of a large-scale oilfield in that country. The oilfield is one of the country's key oil production zones, with its operational site distributed across numerous drilling platforms, mobile power stations, and heavy-duty operational vehicles.

Extreme environmental contamination: Frequent sandstorms result in large quantities of fine dust particles (silicates) in storage tanks, with fuel cleanliness far below engine requirements.

Fuel stability issues: The significant day-to-night temperature variation in the desert affects the stability of fuel stored in tanks.

Equipment downtime risk: Drill rig generator sets are sensitive to fuel quality, where micron-level impurities can cause injector nozzle seizure.

High logistics costs: The oilfield is located in a remote area, engine filter cartridges are consumed quickly, and frequent spare parts supply and manual maintenance generate high logistics and labor costs.

🛠️ Solution

Jingyuan customized 4 sets of 20m³/h high-flow filtration equipment for this enterprise, deployed at the oilfield's internal fueling station and core operational zones.

Polymer Rigid Composite Membrane: Using Jingyuan® polymer rigid composite membrane, leveraging the oleophilic-hydrophobic properties of the membrane material, it efficiently intercepts particulate impurities while synergistically removing trace free water, ensuring dispatched fuel is clear, transparent, and meets cleanliness standards.

High-load filtration: Equipped with high-capacity precision filter cartridges, the single-unit filtration area is significantly increased to handle the high dust content in desert conditions.

Robust design: For high-temperature environments above 50°C, the electrical control system has been thermally optimized and equipped with sun shielding.

📈 Results

After the system was put into operation, the diesel quality used within the oilfield improved to ISO 14/12/10 level. Through the 20m³/h high-flow design, "filter-while-filling" was achieved during fuel intake and dispatch stages, effectively improving operational efficiency. The fuel system failure rate of related drilling equipment decreased significantly.
