Diesel Purification (Mining)
The customer is a large-scale open-pit coal mine operator in a region of Indonesia. The site has hundreds of heavy-duty dump trucks, large excavators, and high-power generator sets, with a large daily diesel consumption.
Before introducing the purification system, the mining area faced fuel quality issues specific to tropical conditions:
Impurity contamination and microbial risk: Indonesia's high air humidity causes storage tanks to easily generate trace free water. Diesel mixed with bio-components is prone to breeding "oil slime," causing frequent cartridge blockage.
Extreme dust environment: The open-pit mining area has severe dust. Fine, hard mineral powder entering the diesel system causes abrasive wear on the precision components of the HPCR system.
High-frequency downtime repairs: Previously, mining trucks frequently experienced insufficient power and injector seizure, with unplanned downtime causing significant output losses.
Contamination indicator exceedance: The original fuel particle count fluctuated around ISO 24/22/19, exceeding the target range.
The customer configured multiple JY-DX40 industrial-grade purification arrays at the mining area's main fuel depot:
Polymer Rigid Composite Membrane: Using Jingyuan® polymer rigid composite membrane, leveraging the oleophilic-hydrophobic properties of the membrane material, it efficiently intercepts particulate impurities while synergistically removing trace free water, ensuring dispatched fuel is clear, transparent, and meets cleanliness standards.
Deep filtration: Specially customized polymer deep filter material performs staged interception of gums and fine mineral powder specific to Indonesian B35 biodiesel.
Continuous monitoring: The system is equipped with real-time particle count monitoring and differential pressure early warning, ensuring the filtered fuel meets the standards required by the engine manufacturer.
By deploying multiple JY-DX40 units, the mining area effectively resolved the fuel quality challenges that had plagued it for years. The purified diesel particle count is stably maintained at ISO 15/13/10. The injector life of heavy-duty trucks has been effectively extended. Due to improved fuel quality, engine combustion is more complete, and per-unit fuel consumption has also been reduced.
In Indonesian mining, dust is an unavoidable issue. Jingyuan's 40m³/h purification units effectively ensure our fleet's fuel quality. Its capability to handle biodiesel is outstanding, resolving the fuel viscosity and injector damage issues we previously encountered frequently, and safeguarding our mining progress.
